The States and Their Capitals Puzzle

$2.99 or Free on Plus | 14 pages (PDF)|Grades: 2 - 6

A fun puzzle to use in the classroom when learning where the states belong, and the capitals that match each.

Challenge students with this teaching resource and test their knowledge of the states and their capitals.

Cut out the states, jumble them up, and put them back together. Then ask your students to match the capitals by placing them on top of the correct state. You can also place the map of the states on top of the map of capitals. Ask your students the capital of the state and then remove the state on top to reveal the correct answer.
