🎓Kindergarten Graduation Craft and Keepsake

🧑🏻‍🎓Your graduates will be bursting with excitement as they write about what they want to be when they grow up. This writing activity is the perfect way to wrap up the end of the year for kindergarten or 1st grade.

🧑🏽‍🎓This kindergarten to first-grade craft template is designed for students to write about what they want to be when they grow up. You can make it into a writing lesson (expectations, student goals, etc.) and then have them create their likeness using the templates included to display their work.

👩🏼‍🎓The download consists of different options for boy and girl graduate templates. These templates will be colored, cut out, and assembled into full-body likenesses that hold the students’ writing responses.

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

A team of dedicated, experienced educators created this resource to support your End-of-Year lessons.

🆘 Support Struggling Students

Provide students with physical challenges with the activity pre-cut to assist them with assembly.

✂️ Give Them the (Safety) Scissors

Depending on your students ‘ ages and abilities, this template makes for a bonus cutting skills activity.

With adult supervision, cutting skills help students work for multiple muscle groups and their brains, plus:

  • Strengthen finger and hand muscles
  • Build dexterity and fine motor skills
  • Improve hand-eye coordination
  • Develop focus and attention.

Scissor skills are brain and muscle skills!
