A match-up activity exploring friends of twenty.

Use this perfect maths rotation activity when exploring addition strategies with your students.

An extension of the Rainbow Facts – Addition Match-Up Cards, this resource explores the different combinations of numbers that add up to twenty.

Students mix up the pieces, then find the matches and put them together. When the rotation is finished, have students take a picture of their progress on a device (if available, a mental picture if unavailable).
