A template to use when exploring or planning a narrative story.
Provide students with a copy of the story map template. Allow them to either plan their own narrative, or look at a familiar narrative and map out the events.
Students identify the characters, setting, problem and solution and what else happened in the story.

My 1/2 students used the @teachstarter story map and PicCollage to create a story map of Little Red Riding Hood. The students simply took a photo of the sheet and set it as their background in the app. They then added the text. Next time I would email it to them. It was a last minute decision to get them to complete it on the iPads- Hence the incorrectly spelt heading!
