A template to use when exploring or planning a narrative story.
Provide students with a copy of the story map template. Allow them to either plan their own narrative, or look at a familiar narrative and map out the events.
Students identify the characters, setting, problem and solution and what else happened in the story.

Photos of this resource, shared by teachers, parents and the Teach Starter team!
My 1/2 students used the @teachstarter story map and PicCollage to create a story map of Little Red Riding Hood. The students simply took a photo of the sheet and set it as their background in the app. They then added the text. Next time I would email it to them. It was a last minute decision to get them to complete it on the iPads- Hence the incorrectly spelt heading! Also it says said instead of saved! #teachersfollowteachers #teachersofinstagram #iteachtoo #twoteachersoneblog #teachstarter #aussieteachertribe
