Catching Catfish - One-Step and Two-Step Problem Sort and Solve
A sort and solve activity using one-step and two-step problem.
Students work together to sort the problems into one-step or two-step problems and then solve each problem.
8 problems include whole numbers, all operations, and are either one-step or two-step.
Use during guided maths, with small groups, or in centres.
This activity includes clear and concise teacher directions, a detailed answer key, and conversation starters that give students what they need to have meaningful academic discussions.
