Reading and Writing 4-Digit Numbers

This super fun, interactive game is the perfect way for your students to practice their knowledge of 4-digit numbers. Understanding the significance of each value is essential to accurately conveying or interpreting numerical information in reading and writing 4-digit numbers.

This “I have, who has” whole class activity has students identifying the places of digits all the way up to 4-digit numbers!

How to Play I Have Who Has?

The student with the sentence “I have the first card” begins the game by standing up and reading their card. Once they have read their clue, the student with the matching number on their card stands up and reads what is on it.

The game continues until the last person reads out, “This is the last card.”
