🏋️‍♀️ Flex Those Self-Esteem Muscles – Mini Activity Book

When introducing the concept of self-esteem to your students, the vocabulary must be at the level of the children’s understanding. This mini-book introduces self-esteem in a child-friendly way and includes a few activities relating to the individual student.

Topics covered include:

  • A definition of self-esteem.
  • The difference between low self-esteem and high self-esteem.
  • What causes low self-esteem and how to fix it.
  • Ways you can boost your self-esteem.

Many of the pages in this book include a square for the students to answer questions along the way; here are some of the self-esteem-related questions included in this mini-book:

  • Draw a picture of yourself looking confident.
  • How can you change negative self-talk to positive self-talk?
  • Draw a picture of one of your strengths or talents.
  • What is something positive you can say to yourself?
  • Draw a picture of you achieving one of your goals.
  • Draw a picture of you using one of your coping skills.
  • What makes a good friend?
  • What can you look for to identify a negative relationship?
  • How do you take care of your health and body?
