Multiple Uses for These Online Text Features Task Cards
Using these online text features task cards in your classroom takes a small amount of preparation, but once prepared these cards can be reused time and time again!
Here are some ways you can integrate this resource into your literacy lessons:
- Whole-Class Quiz – Divide your class into small groups. Play a quiz-style game by reading the questions out in turn and allowing the students to answer them in their groups. This encourages collaboration and healthy competition between students.
- Literacy Groups – Place a selection of the cards at a literacy station. Have students take turns answering the questions aloud and discussing the correct answers together to deepen understanding.
- Independent Work – Place the cards in an easily accessible location in the classroom. Encourage students to work through the cards independently, using the answer sheet to self-check their responses.
