What is the Strip Diagram Strategy?

The strip diagram strategy, also known as the bar model strategy, uses rectangular bars to represent numbers and operations visually. It enables students to break down addition problems and visualize the relationships between the numbers. Using this visual representation, students can grasp the concepts of regrouping, place value, and the overall addition structure.
