A set of 10 bullseye target percentage posters to use as a warm-up activity.
Use this resource as a math warm-up when students are learning about percentages.
Project one of the targets on the board. Students must come up with as many different ways to reach the target percentage as they can and write them in their math journals or on a mini dry-erase board. (This includes their equivalents.) Or as an alternative, you might like to have students generate a word problem that has that percentage as a solution. The possibilities are endless!
This is a great activity to use in the classroom to work on students’ mental math skills. You may also challenge students by telling them they must hit the target number using three or more numbers, or by using at least two different operations. The options for this resource are endless!
