Practice number bonds with this fun rainbow-themed hands-on activity.

Number Bonds Activity for Kids

Number bonds are two single numbers that come together to result in a larger number (addition only). They are a type of number fact that, if students know instantly – will help them solve more complex mathematics problems.

Use this bright, fun rainbow-themed matching activity with your students to consolidate their knowledge of number bonds. How quickly can they match the clouds with the rainbows?

If your students are just starting out with number bonds, you might like to look at our Counting On Number Bonds worksheet, which clearly helps students understand the process of starting at a larger number and counting on.
