Sedimentary Rock Formation Poster
A poster explaining the processes that lead to the formation of sedimentary rocks.
Sedimentary rock is one of the three main types of rocks formed through weathering, erosion, deposition, compaction, and cementation, and makes up 75% of the Earth’s surface!
Use this comic-style poster in the science classroom to help your students understand the processes that lead to the formation of sedimentary rocks.
Print out on tabloid paper and display in the classroom for students to reference throughout your Soil, Rocks, and Weathering units. Or print out on letter-size paper and have students glue into their science journal to reference at home or while working in small groups.
Use the drop-down menu to choose between the color or black and white version and the letter-size, tabloid-size, or Google slide format.
