A sorting worksheet to practise identifying common and proper nouns.
Use this worksheet when teaching students the difference between common and proper nouns.
Students cut out a set of words and sort them as common or proper nouns. Then they glue them into the correct column of the chart.
This resource can either be used as independent practice after a lesson or as a whole-class activity in the middle of a lesson. Simply project the worksheet on the interactive whiteboard and work through the questions together.
An answer sheet is included.
