Practise Drawing Bar Graphs and Pictographs With Our Graphing Worksheet!

Are your students learning how to read and draw many-to-one graphs in maths? Students will use their counting skills to draw an accurate graph that reflects the data table.

This double-sided worksheet will give students an opportunity to practise making bar graphs and pictographs with scaled intervals. Students will read the data on the right-hand side and complete each graph.

An answer key is included with your download to make marking fast and easy!

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

In addition to independent student work time, use this worksheet as an activity for:

  • Guided math groups
  • Lesson warm-up
  • Lesson wrap-up
  • Fast finishers
  • Homework assignment
  • Whole-class review (via smartboard)

Fast finishers can create their own frequency table with data. Students can then choose to create a bar graph or pictograph using the data. Additionally, consider giving the single-unit version of this resource.

If students need support with the content, you can choose to limit which type of graph they should complete.
