Read the Icebreaker Card and Start Singing! 🎤

Here’s how this creative activity works:

  • This activity combines a singing/action song with a ‘get-to-know-you’ discussion. The activity begins with students standing in pairs, facing each other. They perform actions while singing the song and then sit down together to talk.
  • Once students have sat down with their partner, they chat to get to know one another and find common ground. Direct the students’ discussions by reading out an icebreaker card. The goal is for the partners to find two answers that they BOTH agree on.
  • As soon as every pair has found two common answers, students stand and find a new partner.
  • The song is repeated, and the next question is discussed with the new partner.

This structure keeps the energy flowing and ensures that students interact with multiple classmates throughout the activity.
