An editable parts of speech card game.
Editable Card Game
The words used in the document can be edited to suit the needs of your class. To ensure the game remains balanced, be sure to change words to those of the same type, e.g., nouns to nouns.
Students take turns placing cards in a pile, matching the color of the card or part of speech.
The first player to get rid of all their cards is the winner.
Two versions are available to download. One includes labels for the noun, adjective, and verb cards. This version is intended for use with students needing assistance with determining the parts of speech. The second version does not include these labels and requires students to correctly identify the nouns, adjectives, and verbs.
The cards included in the game are:
- draw 2
- wild cards.
