Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

A team of dedicated, experienced educators created this resource to support your science lessons.

In addition to individual student work time, use this flipbook to enhance learning through small groups, whole class lessons, or remote learning assignments.

If you have a mixture of above and below-level learners, check out these suggestions for keeping students on track with the concepts:

🆘 Support Struggling Students

If there are students in need of additional support, consider partnering them with a student to help them with the reading material. Additionally, invite students to reference posters or anchor charts, reminding them of how materials can break down, move to a different location, and build up over time.

➕ Challenge Fast Finishers

For students looking for an additional challenge, encourage them to create a comic or infographic showing the differences between weathering, erosion, and deposition.
