A set of 66 contraction match-up cards.
Use this resource when students are learning about contractions.
Print out the cards on cardstock and cut them out along the dotted lines. Store the pieces in a resealable bag to be used again and again.
Students are to match up the contraction with the expanded version, e.g. cannot = can’t.
This activity works great when used as a reading center activity!
A blank page of match-up cards is included in the download so that you can add any other contractions we might have missed!
Use the drop-down menu to choose between 2 sets to a page or 8 sets to a page.
