Fire Safety Inspired Count and Match Activity!

Fire Prevention Week is coming! Why not blend fire safety concepts and math activities for preschoolers and kindergarteners? We’ve got a handy set of Count and Match Activity cards to help your students get “fired up” about counting with one-to-one correspondence. This hands-on count and match activity will have students look at groups of objects (up to 10) and count them.

Practice Matching Numbers to Objects (1-10)

To play, students will look at the pictures on each card and count them. They will then clip a clothespin on one of the answer choices. Afterwards, students will flip the card over to see if the clothespin matches up with the correct answer (indicated by a teacher-drawn star on the back of each card).

Through this fire safety-themed count and match activity, students will practice matching numbers to objects (1-10).
